I would honestly give 0 stars if I could. I want to write the full story of what happened to me, which is pretty similar to those of other reviewers around here. It really shows how consistently bad these guys are.
So, I order storage materials from Lovespace Ltd so that I move out of my property (I am a student). This process includes packing, and then collection of the boxes. The delivery of the materials was to be done by ParcelForce Worldwide, and delivery was due on 13th June 2023. Needless to say, the materials never arrived on the 13th, not even on the 14th. The tracking service said that it had arrived in the so-called Northern Centre (on the 14th), and it seemed that my parcel was generally moving around like a turtle (a very slow one, too).
I contacted Lovespace on the 15th, and an employee there sent an email to Parcelforce, urging them to complete the delivery as soon as possible, as the collection date of my boxes was on the 16th; and I needed the materials/boxes. ParcelForce then sends me an email, on the 15th of June @ 11 AM saying:
"Your parcel is going to be delivered today between 12:14 and 13:14"
I waited for 2 hours outside of my property, which was located in a really central place in Manchester. I saw absolutely no one from ParcelForce. Their tracking service was then saying that they attempted a delivery but I was not there, and they left a card as well. That is just a disgusting lie. They were never there in the first place. If you go through all the other reviews, this seems to be a very consistent behaviour from them.
Then, the next day (the 16th, the day of box collection), a guy from ParcelForce shows up (found the place pretty easily, huh?), with the parcel which had the boxes/storage materials I had originally ordered. I told him that Lovespace Ltd cancelled the order, and refunded the amount to me, as it was not completed in time, and that I could not collect the parcel. The guy then says to me:
"Then, no collection?"
I say: "yes, I can't take this, as I was refunded the money". The guy types something on his pad and then leaves. Little did I know that ParcelForce was also tasked with collecting my boxes (I did not know that at the time, although I could, but the relevant email had gone into spam and I didn't see it). So, me confirming "no collection" meant for him that: "I am not collecting your boxes". Total tragedy (My boxes were all ready to go). He could definitely be a bit more careful and outline what he was tasked to do (i.e. "I am delivering a parcel and I am collecting boxes", in clean language), but he was too quick and spoke with monosyllables. Let's not also mention the fact that they are delivering storage materials and collecting boxes at the same day. Since they partner with Lovespace Ltd, they should know the relevant dates. Anyways.
TLDR: Avoid at all costs.
