This is the second time Parcelforce have said they have been 'unable to deliver' the parcel to the address. You might think that we live in the back end of nowhere, we do not. Other carriers manage to find the address, but not Parcelforce. It seems that the several billion dollars of hardware orbiting the earth is insufficient for their needs. I guess this is understandable given how new the transit, postal, delivery thing is civilisation and how difficult it is nowadays to locate addresses around the world. The woman who took my call at the main call centre was very helpful, the woman at the local depot, less so. She asked me if there were any notable buildings, a shop or post office nearby to help the driver. It just so happens that there is a house, with a name on it, our house, that ought to provide enough help even for the very navigationally challenged. The first time this happened I observed the van travel towards the house, pause briefly and then leave. This must be the most literal interpretation of a sat nav I have ever seen. How hard can it be to deliver a parcel in the 21st century?
