Message received from Parcelforce at 16:33 to say "We attempted to deliver your parcel UG7690764 today Friday 13th September 2024 at 16:33pm from ***** but no one was available. Our driver will have left a card explaining what to do next." This is an outright lie.
(1) We were gardening in the front garden all afternoon and the delivery person would have had to pass by us. (2) The is no Parcelforce delivery person on the 24-hour security camera. (3) There is no Parcelforce delivery person recorded on the doorbell camera (only the Amazon delivery person). (4) A miss delivery card was not put through the door as Parcelforce claimed.
The lazy Parcelforce delivery driver clearly wanted to bunk off early for the day and decided that they would tell a lie so that they could do so. Disgraceful and deceitful behaviour. We order regularly from the firm sending the parcel and they are a reputable family firm. Sadly the courier firm that they use currently (Parcelforce) is the pits, and is letting them down badly.
