I recently placed an order for delivery within London, and my experience with Parcel Force has been nothing short of infuriating. On the scheduled delivery day, I received no notifications whatsoever. When I checked the status on your website, it stated that the parcel was awaiting collection by the courier. I immediately called your hotline. After repeating my reference number three times, your automated system failed to recognise it. I was then forced to wait over half an hour listening to horrendous hold music before finally speaking to an operator. The operator informed me that the courier had apparently tried to collect the parcel but no one was present at the location – which is an absolute lie. The courier was expected that day, and someone was there specifically to hand over the parcel. When I asked why the courier hadn’t contacted the designated person, the operator shockingly told me that couriers are not required to call. What is even more absurd is that the reference number provided by your system was entirely useless. The operator gave me a different reference, which finally allowed me to see the parcel details. How is this acceptable? I requested a refund, but it hasn’t been processed to date. This level of service is utterly chaotic and unacceptable. I would not recommend Parcel Force to anyone. Sort out your system and your customer service – this is appalling.
