Delivery of the parcel was attempted on 29 June when we were out. An attempt was made via the website to arrange re-delivery on 11th July. Stayed in all day, nothing happened. Called the depot to be told the parcel was still at the local post office and would need to returned to the depot within 3 or 5 working days and they would then call us to arrange a re-delivery. Nothing happened. A further attempt made to fix a re-delivery on line for 14 July. Nothing happened. Called the depot number on 20 July to be told that the parcel could be uplifted from the post office and re-delivered within 3 or 5 working days. Nothing more specific than this as it was the driver's responsibility. If we were out when this delivery was attempted, the parcel would go back to the depot and a re-delivery could be arranged. Once again, no specific day, let alone time could be given. Other parcel delivery companies can offer delivery times on the next day and give a precise hourly time slot. I cannot see why anyone should want to tolerate such poor service from Parcelforce.
