It is so important to check reviews about service providers, and yet I didn't follow the rule.
I would say 1 start rating is incredibly high for the kind of service I have received fro Parcel Force.
From the moment I attend to the counter in the post office in Dalston Kingsland, where I was actually given wrong information regarding "guaranteed service"
Then, dealing with "International Office Helpdesk Advisor" Nicola Clarke, and finally doing my best to find the right person, "Manager" Curtis Riley, who could actually wear my shoes, the service consumer.
I would not use Parcel Force service again even if they were the ONLY service providers.
It took me several phone calls, emails, and precious time, to reach to:
1- Global express fee
2- A parcel that never made its final destination
3- A parcel that is now back in the UK with an extra "return fee" to be paid
4- Bitter experience
5- Many calls with pretty rude staff
The most impressive part of the story is, I kindly asked for the conversation recordings and the "unprofessional" manager said to me "this can not be provided"... It means, I MUST trust them, a company that from the very beginning provided misleading information, incredible poor customer service and lies.
Difficult to trust to
Nicola Clarke - she did her best at the beginning, however, she knows Parcel Force made a big mistake, and then tried to cover her back using her Manager.
Curtis Riley - I own businesses, and and the end of the story, first of all you need to understand and wear the customer shoes. YES, you stand for your people and your organisations, but most importantly, you need to recognise when a mistake has been made.
You are rude, a big liar, and only because I dont have the time, I would have loved to teach you a lesson, you MUST respect your customers. You NEVER listened to the conversation, you JUST listened what you wanted to.
Parcel Force, a lot of work to do with your TEAM...!
