---------------------------------------- BEWARE OF PARCELFORCE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I have been a customer of Parcelforce for over 40 years and took my item a heavy exterior sign to the local Post office and it was accepted and insured as a valid item. I had looked at an excluded items link on the Parcel Force site and the item was not on the list. My item got delivered over two days late and smashed to bits despite having foam each side and securely packed. I put two claims in, one for late delivery and one for total loss damage £150. Parcel Force then produced yet another link of uninsured items which is so huge it almost infringes the trades descriptions act of Parcelforce being a carrier. They refused to pay the damage claim and had the cheek to close off the two day late delivery claim as well. I reopened both claims and the late payment one was settled, the damage one after long wrangle they refused to pay. Below is the final response from the managing director's office which basically says we are an unregulated company so go away there's nothing you can do. They know full well that if we stuck to the limited list of items they will take and insure they would not have a business hence why at the local Post Ofiice they take everything for money. They are a law unto themselves so AVOID AT ALL COSTS but if you have issues then this is the CEO email address so don't bother with their complaints portal which is useless keeps freezing and crashing just go to the top.
