A few months ago I had a parcel being delivered by parcel force. I popped out for 20 mins and missed them by 5 mins Called and chap said he would call driver and he would come back. Never did. Called again and they agreed not to deliver before 12 . They did so called again. Asked to deliver to village post office. I went to collect it and they tried to deliver at home. I got a message to say I had to collect at their depot some 40 miles away. Complained and finally received the item then next week. Again another delivery within 48 hours. Received an “interactive” text. ( returned message and tried to call number but error message) to say SHOULD be with me 12-1pm. Checked online tracking and said still in depot. Called at my expense to see where parcel was and told was out for delivery and time approx. That means he could come any time during the day. Would not except telephone complaint and given wrong telephone number to call and complain. If I was told all day I would not be happy but that’s there system. But telling me should be 12-1pm is misleading. Appalling service
