I received notification of delivery between 12.30 and 13.30 in the morning via text message. Around midday I checked on the live tracking on the ParcelForce App and saw the van was a couple of miles away. Checked again an hour later and the position hadn’t moved!
At about 14.30 I received another text message saying delivery was attempted but nobody at home - absolute rubbish! After eventually managing to speak to the depot (took about 30mins ), I was told the van was back at the depot.
Van driver obviously decided it was Friday and he or she wanted to knock off early, so lied about the attempted delivery. He or she should be sacked.
I changed my daily plans to accept the package which was required on that day - totally unacceptable, and as I have security cameras showing the drive, I have evidence that no delivery was attempted. Disgusting service, and not the first time this has happened with Parcelforce, so will never use them gain.
