Terrible Customer Service – Ignoring My Emails for Days
I am extremely disappointed with Party Delights' service. I ordered a costume for my son's World Book Day event and paid for faster delivery to ensure it arrived on time. However, I was later informed that the order would not arrive by March 4th as promised. Since I needed it for his school celebration on March 5th, I immediately emailed them to cancel my order and request a refund if they couldn’t guarantee the original delivery date.Unfortunately, no one read my email for over 24 hours, and by the time they finally responded, it was too late—the item had already been shipped. This is completely unfair because they had already acknowledged a delay and had enough time to prevent the shipment. As a result, I was forced to buy another costume elsewhere.Since I no longer need this item, I requested a return. Party Delights usually charges customers for returns, but this delay was entirely their fault, not mine. I believe it is only fair that they cover the return costs in this case. I reached out to them on March 11th to discuss this, but they have ignored every single email since then. They claim to respond within 48 hours, yet days have passed with no reply. I have sent multiple follow-ups, practically begging them to assist me, but they continue to ignore me.This is unacceptable customer service. A company that fails to help its customers or even acknowledge emails should not be trusted. I strongly discourage anyone from ordering from Party Delights unless you're prepared to pay for their mistakes and be completely ignored when you need assistance.
