“Terrible Customer Service – Ignoring My Emails for Days I am extremely disappointed with Party Delights' service. I ordered a costume for my son's World Book Day event and paid for faster delivery to ensure it arrived on time. However, I was later informed that the order would not arrive by March 4th as promised. Since I needed it for his school celebration on March 5th, I immediately emailed them to cancel my order and request a refund if they couldn’t guarantee the original delivery date.Unfortunately, no one read my email for over 24 hours, and by the time they finally responded, it was too late—the item had already been shipped. This is completely unfair because they had already acknowledged a delay and had enough time to prevent the shipment. As a result, I was forced to buy another costume elsewhere.Since I no longer need this item, I requested a return. Party Delights usually charges customers for returns, but this delay was entirely their fault, not mine. I believe it is only fair that they cover the return costs in this case. I reached out to them on March 11th to discuss this, but they have ignored every single email since then. They claim to respond within 48 hours, yet days have passed with no reply. I have sent multiple follow-ups, practically begging them to assist me, but they continue to ignore me.This is unacceptable customer service. A company that fails to help its customers or even acknowledge emails should not be trusted. I strongly discourage anyone from ordering from Party Delights unless you're prepared to pay for their mistakes and be completely ignored when you need assistance.”

“I have ordered a costume for a world book day 4 days prior the event inspired by searched results for companies delivering jn two days this company Party Delights popped up and I am still waiting for the costume. On the other hand I have also purchased a costume for Workd book day same time and same day on Amazon just in case but fair play to Amazon which predicated delivery in four days but actually delivered my daughter’s costume a day earlier. Wow, what a difference! Unhappy “Party Delights” customer.”

“I am very disappointed with the service from Party Delights. I ordered a World Book Day costume over the weekend via express delivery. I then received an email (into spam as it was sent from a no-reply email address) at 4.30pm on Monday to say the item won't arrive by Wednesday despite having paid **£6.95** for express delivery and it comfiming on the final order screen that the item would arrive on time for WBD. I've attempted request a refund but I have been denied as apparently the item had already been packaged - I've been told to wait for the parcel to arrive, then print a label and return it before I'll be refunded - absolutely shocking considering the company have failed to deliver the advertised standard of service, yet I've now got to find the time to go to print a return label, before sending it back.. I've then got to wait until the return has been processed before I get my money back! Absolutely awful service. I would NOT recommend Party Delights.”

“Absolute joke of a company, poor customer service. Called to see when my item will arrive, they wouldn't give me a answer, but happy to charge me an additional £6 for delivery tomorrow, be interesting to see if it arrives tomorrow now that i have paid the extra, it's for my daughters nativity play”

“Ordered from Party Delights (Phone: 0161 776 1133, Email: customercare@partydelights.co.uk, Location: Unit 4 Tallow Way Fairhills Road Irlam Manchester, M44 6RJ) on Wednesday November 30th, paid for next day delivery before 12 noon, still waiting for the Christmas santa hats Saturday am, and being told by DPD that I can't expect them before Monday at the earliest. The event I ordered them for is today. Enough said. Wish I'd read all the review comments about the company before I ordered from them. Lesson learnt - they won't get an order from me again, and I'm posting this on my FB feed as well. You should be investigated by trading standards.....”

“Ordered an item for my sons birthday two weeks in advance & it never arrived. Had to follow up with a email two day after i placed order as I had got no confirmation of. my oder. It was seemingly despatched a few hours later then. Never arrived. Also emailed with a complaint and never got a response. Stay well clear & order your party supplies off a more reliable, trustworthy website...”

“Ordered box balloons for granddaughter’s birthday five days in advance but the balloons never arrived. Emailed customer services but no reply. Luckily paid by PayPal and managed to get a refund. I do not recommend using this company.”

“I orderded last week to get my parcel delivered to a naibour that i dont know that actually doesnt exsist and no door number nothing just gave it to some stranger or probaly stole it it i need it as it for my childs costume no mask for his school tomorrow cant get true to nobody and wasted my money joke off a place never again”

“Can't understand why they've got low rating. I think they're fantastic and never fail to disappoint. Received a mallet prop for outfit.. all of their stuff is of great quality! Will defibately continue buying from party delights for fancy dress from now on”

“Placed my order on the weekend. Paid the £8.95 for next day delivery. It should have been here today (11.5.21) not received. Sent an email but now having read the statements here I doubt I’ll have a response. Will not order from here again.”
