I would give Paypal less than 1* if I could. After being a business customer for more than ten years, they restricted our account and asked for my ID (passport in my case). I sent it through but heard nothing back for a month. The restriction stayed on, and a request for the same ID document was still on our home page, so I submitted it again (a valid UK passport). 3 weeks have passed since then and the account is still blocked with a small amount of money in it. No other documents have been requested and our account still says our documents (i.e. my passport) is still being reviewed and this should take 2 to 3 days. This has now been more than 2 months. Today I began a chat with PP and I got nowhere; I wanted to close the account because i can't be bothered with this kind of customer service. They just told me the 'documents' (i.e. my passport) is still being reviewed and they would email me when it's done. It's absolutely ridiculous. We can't close the account, send money, withdraw or receive money. They make you feel like a criminal.
