I use my account for receiving money only. All of the sudden I had a direct debit from my bank account to a Tiktok shop. I placed a dispute as required and they came back immediately and said nope it's authorized based on our research. So I called and talked to a person her name was Rona first she said nope it's authorized and I explained to her that I've never used my account for any debits and she told me she would refund the charge and it was all settled. I didn't get an email right away and then it was Christmas and I chatted again today asking about my refund. I was told she never put it in the computer that I was getting a refund and that is still posted as an authorized charge. If I want to do anything further they can reopen the case and dispute it with the seller and then they're asking me what goods or services I received. I told them I don't even know if it's good or services because I don't know what it is it's an unauthorized charge. They have been stringing me along for over a week and I am so done. I would never recommend PayPal to anyone. They say they protect you from exactly the situation but they do not. It is unbelievable.
