A new laptop to replace a 12 year old Dell XPS15 Telephone advice was very helpful in making the full spec. It would have been good to have been advised that delivery was likely to be at the weekend and that the courier service was Monday-Friday unless a supplement was paid. However this was sorted for me. Laptop startup is very speedy and display seems good. Keyboard layout is different to the Dell and others: I’m slowly getting used to it. On/off switch is fiddly I haven’t yet had cause to test the microphone or camera The real negative is the feeble and tinny sound quality (compared to the Dell, other laptops I have used or my smartphone). I haven’t yet had a Zoom or Teams meeting to see if it will perform adequately for this.
