I'm not a computer wizzkid, far from it. But I did know that I wanted a custom built desktop machine rather than one of the run of the mill PCs you can buy at one of the generic stores up and down the country. I did some research and it was clear that PC Specialist was highly regarded. I created an account and started to choose my components, I must say that I was a little daunted at first because although I know what a processor, RAM and a motherboard is, the lists of numbers with abreviations like GHz, DDR and MHz next to them meant nothing to me, so I did some more research to understand what was what. I certainly don't confess to be anymore of an expert than when I first started, but I did learn a little. (or so I thought!) After completing my list of components for the sixth time, I saved my build as a quote, I then got a message telling me that some of my components were not compatible, this was a reasuring message from PC Specialist, I changed that component and was then able to save my quote. After ordering I had numerous emails giving me a progress report on the build stage and I even got a 360° photo of my machine. It then entered the testing and configuration process and a couple of days later I had an email to say it was awaiting dispatch and another later that day to say it had been dispatched with the courier company DPD. Another email arrived with important set-up information and then the following day my new Desktop PC arrived, very well packed. Excellent service all round from PC Specialist. One tiny niggle, I would have liked a manual for the motherboard as there are different types of USB sockets, I did find the information online so all good. I gave 5 stars because I PC Specialist deserve 5 stars. Many thanks
