My policy provides wellness and illness coverage. I’m happy with what’s covered.
The claims process has been problematic on 2 of the 4 claims I’ve submitted. The 1st. At least 3 uploads of the same vet’s invoice to get date of treatment read and payment recognized. The 2nd: I submitted a claim and it wasn’t looked at for several days and I needed to resubmit the same exact claim and upload to start the claim process.
I suggest when a claim amount is reduced because of prior claims, please supply the dates and amounts and coverage because all are labeled ‘wellness’ and it’s difficult for customer to determine the wellness ‘sub-coverage and classification limits as vaccination, diagnostic and preventative have separate coverage limits, and all are part of pet health appointment checkup.
