This review this purely based on the technician that attended our house on behalf of Plumbingforce. We had a bird trapped behind our gas fireplace after it had fallen from the nest on top of our chimney and had to remove the fire to be able to let the bird out safely. The technician carried put the job with complete thoroughness. He was polite and helpful while making sure that the job caused no major problems in the house, such as excessive dust, etc... from the fireplace.
The negative feedback is to do with the fact that the technician was to have turned up the day before. We had called Plumbingforce at 11.30am to enquire if they could remove the trapped bird and book them. They told us initially that someone would turn up before 3pm, so we waited. Then we got a call that the technician would be delayed and someone would be with us before 6pm, so we waited again cancelling all plans for the day. However, we then got another call to say that of the 2 technicians that might have carried out the work that day, neither would be able to make it and the work would have to be done the next day between 8am - 12pm and they would call beforehand to tell us the exact time they would arrive. Begrudgingly, we had to agree as we had already waited most of the day.
The next morning, we waited for a call to let us know what time a technician might attend. We didn't get a call, but the technician turned up just before 10am. As said, the technician was excellent. The service and communication from Plumbingforce in getting a technician out to customers need to be improved. I understand exact times when a technician can attend a customer call can vary, but hanging around all day at home to wait for a technician who is repeatedly delayed is problematic too.
