I have 2 rented properties which needed the annual Gas Safety Certificates, and one needed a minor repair to a leak. The work was done, and a few weeks later I noticed payment had been taken from my account the day this was done. I had heard nothing, so I telephoned and asked for the Certificates, and the invoices for my accounts. I was advised they would be emailed, or sent. One month later, I still had heard nothing, so I rang again. I was advised this would be looked into, and they would be sent. I went on holiday, but when I returned, 8 days later, I still had heard nothing. The situation is critical as one tenant is leaving, and I need the Gas Safety Certificate to rent it out again, as well as for legal reasons.
