We decided to try Poppy's Picnic as we were originally on another raw food commercial brand and our dog didn't seem to be enjoying it so much and I think the portion sizes at the other supplier were a bit too much. I researched the best dog food and Poppy's Picnic came out on top for nutrition, so was an obvious choice to try next. I liked the look and feel of the brand and it was important to me to give my dog the best nutrition possible. Ein eats his dinner better than he previously did and the dinners just look better than the other companies. It is a bit more expensive but it's clearly worth it. I'm really happy so far with the food and so is Ein :)
