To start off, as soon as I joined Mr. Parrish's class I felt like I was in the right class surrounded with the best instructor and peers. From the first class, the class was so chatty and interactive which made it an even easier environment to efficiently learn in. I would typically think of tutoring to be boring, but as soon as I entered the class I just knew that I would be in a great learning space. Specifically, Mr. Parrish wasn't just a tutor to me, he felt more like a friend I was learning from. This is because it was easy to connect with Mr. Parrish and he made sure we were locked in when we needed to be, all in the kindest ways possible. I was unsure of joining PrepExpert at first, but I am extremely glad that me and a couple of my friends made the decision to join because it led me to learn tons of new things that will be greatly helpful on my SAT journey. The peers I had were very helpful too, we all clicked from the first class and were a great group of classmates as we now shared our personal information and hope to keep the connections forever. Mr. Parrish went as far as telling us that he would answer our emails even after the class ends, which made me very happy because I am taking the October SAT and having insight closer to my exam from a professional would be amazing. I saw many improvements in my 10th grade PSAT score to my PrepExpert practice test, this made me feel motivated to learn and showed me the effectiveness of taking a SAT course with PrepExpert. I personally felt the course was very educational, fun, and well-taught because of how it served as great learning. One key thing to wanting to learn, is having a great tutor. I was skeptical about joining PrepExpert before I joined because it was online and I felt that I wouldn't feel like wanting to learn, but when I actually took a few classes I learned that this wasn't the case and that learning online is as effective as in-person, if you have a great learning environment.
