The original rent on my first 10 x 10 unit started around $40-$65. I’m not sure the exact number at this point in time the rate has been raised to around $260 for the same unit. I also have a second unit that has had a significant run increase. I’ve put in requests with the management which are doing their best but unfortunately having issues because the corporate offer office does not care about its loyal customers, I’ve been renting with them a little bit over two years and tried to work something out but it hasn’t been enough. I’m still paying over $200 for each unit. They advised that I move my belongings and consolidate it into a different unit. I also believe they may have said to switch to a unit with a lower rate , it’s unfortunate that they have such a lack of transparency. You really get trapped in here and people storing their valuable heirlooms or even things they really need but don’t have the space for. They have postponed rent increases if I really put my all into explaining how unfair the situation is, but it’s still not a reasonable price. If I could move my belongings, I would, but I as well as many others have health issues that make this extremely difficult. I’m currently selling the vast majority of my belongings and items that are extremely special to me because I can’t afford this. I’m sure there are hundreds of other people in the same situation dealing with this company.
