I got fire because I hurt my foot at work .their manager wouldn’t give me the opportunity to file Workmen’s comp claim. I Recently got fired. I did nothing wrong. My wife, who works at PUBLIX too. She got depressed over the holidays started drinking. I told her that she needed to get help if she can’t stop on her own. I left the house let things cool down and I get charged with a domestic battery. There was no domestic battery because I did not touch her. She told the courts on the road I did not touch her and she told Andrew Becca and Mike that. I did not hear her. My charges were dropped. The state Attorney didn’t even fill charges on me. My case was investigated thoroughly Through the state Attorneys. In the do not charge me with this crime. I was simply trying to get my wife help because she has a drinking problem. She got a DUI. That alone should show you that she has a drink problem. Worked PUBLIX for seven years had no problem. We’re with PUBLIX had good reviews until Andrew got to the store. Andrew had a problem with me because he was supposed to make my wife full-time and never did. That’s the reason why my wife was working in my store. I had my white go to the bakery. Because all Andrew had to do is make her full-time and she would’ve went over to the deli. My wife was not going to work in that busy deli for only $14 hour. This is part of the reason why Andrew wanted me out of the store. He didn’t fire my wife when she got a DUI and threaten law-enforcement. So I feel I have been discriminated against for my sex in the nature of the charge. In my disability because Andrew was fully aware, I had a problem with my foot that I hurt at work and also I was going to be having surgery so I would be taking more time out of work.
