Tried to buy 2 pairs of shoes online RL.com for a shipping in Los Angeles but have been unable to complete the order with any of my credit cards (MasterCard and Visa). An error message keeps showing ''something went wrong, try an alternative method or contact our customer service'' which I did. Completely incompetent customer service. The chat kept disconnecting making me repeat the whole issue all over again. One agent comes up with a solution then I get disconnected and the next agent is not able to go ahead with this same solution... They tell you that the amount is being held and blocked (!) and it can take up to 30 days to verify whether the card has sufficient bank autorisation to complete the payment? What???? Since when an online store holds a deposit amount for a purchase that did not go through ?? Is this a hotel room I'm trying to book here or a simple pair of shoes that I wanted to buy during black Friday??? I can't believe a ''luxury'' brand is making it impossible to buy something online in 2024. It took me 1 minute to realise I can't trust this brand with my money.
Guys make sure you don't save your card détails on their website, they might be tempted to ''hold an amount'' even if 0 purchase has been made!!!
