Reverb is horrible and pretty much screwed me over. Here's my story
this was my first time ever using reverb because it was recommended to me by a good friend. This will also be my last due to their customer service and how unorganized they are. I sold equipment on reverb and it has been a huge headache.
I shipped the item to the buyer and the buyer missed 3 delivery attempts and it was sent back to me. I got it back and the box was in really bad shape but the item was ok. The guy never received the item and the funds aren't released until he receives it. I got an email saying that I'm going to receive a refund and I was confused since I was the seller.
I then got $3300 deposited in my bank account and was confused so I reached out to them. They had no records of them depositing $3300 in my account. So when you sell something on reverb and the item is returned you get to keep the money that you paid for shipping.
I have been back and forth for 3-4 weeks with reverb customer service about this and they took the money back out of my account and didn't give me the full amount that I paid for shipping. They are literally a multi-million dollar company and they just got bought by Etsy not long ago. They are arguing with me for the amount of shipping that I was supposed to get. Then they sent me a partial refund for shipping so I reach out to them and they say that they are charging me a 5% reverb fee on the shipping.. wtf?? The greed is real. Never using reverb again and I don't recommend them. They are a mess and very disorganized..
