I have been a Reverb member for more than a decade. Being a Chicago native, I frequently shopped at Chicago Music Exchange, the creators of Reverb.com. My experience with the staff has always been positive. I felt that they were fair and honest, which is a rarity nowadays. Well, now that another entity has acquired Reverb.com, I have seen dramatic increases in their fees and an unfair bias toward buyers when disputes arise. As a seller of high-end gear, I no longer feel safe or protected if a buyer makes bogus claims about items received.
