I purchased a pair of Rieker boots just over a year ago. The size was 44 in an extra wide fit (G and a half). The sole on one boot split right across the from side to side. As you can appreciate boots or shoes in this width are not easily available. I have been told by Rieker that the fault was in manufacturing. Since the date of purchase the price of a replacement Rieker boot has increase substantially. Rieker customer service have refused to give any concession on the price of any replacement. This is without doubt very poor customer service as good will is not in the frame. If I could give a no star rating I would. I have photos of the boots which Rieker have received by email and I have spoken to customer service on the phone.
