I advertised direct with Rightmove Commercial and although pleased with the advert (most of the work which I did by myself and which was then put straight onto the Rightmove site by the Rightmove staff) I was disappointed at the service received. It was promised in writing at the time of taking out the advert that I would receive regular feedback etc however, to the contrary I had to email the staff on a few occasions to ascertain how the advert was performing. I decided in the end to withdraw the advert as I felt I wasn't getting the service promised and I didn't feel it was my role to keep chasing the Rightmove staff. Also, whenever I tried to contact a staff member, it appeared that someone new or different was allocated the role of looking after the commercial side of things so no continuity of care. I felt 'lost in the system'. If you are interested in using Rightmove for a commercial advert, think carefully. There are other companies out their which are far more effective both in terms of cost and results!
