Royal Mail you are terrible. a) You don't leave the package with a neighbour like every other company I know or hide it under a box in the front garden - why not? b) they then leave a card that doesn't have a reference on it c) if you call to redeliver the phone-line says it is too busy to answer calls and then disconnects you. It directs you to the website d) At the website you can't just order a redelivery it says you have to download the app e) Assuming you've a smart phone (not very inclusive Royal Mail) you download the app f) In my case it told me I need to reset my password but this takes a while to arrive g)you then can book a redelivery but have to reenter your information for every delivery you've missed - OMG how much time so slow h) You can't click the box to specify for it to be left in a safe space or with a neighbour - oh no that would be too efficient and cost effective for everyone i) then you can't book a slot of your choice so it could arrive anytime and the cycle continues.... Really, who is responsible for this terrible terrible service. If you have mobility problems on a low income you'd be totally scuppered. My delivery place is not on a bus route. This is shockingly bad service. I wonder if you could make it any worse. I'd like a response please Royal Mail - who is responsible? My postman is super lovely, the only saving grace.
I'm going to stop buying anything online delivered by Royal Mail as they are so rubbish. This was part of a gift for someone's birthday. Long gone now...
