On 4 January a parcel was posted via Royal Mail 24 hour track service.it contains birthday gifts for my grandchildren which I ordered so they would be here in plenty of time for their birthdays this weekend. The parcel has been sat in Chelmsford mail centre since 5 January and has not moved. Today is 7 January and it is 11.36pm. I don’t hold much hope of receiving this tomorrow either. I also posted a gift to Austria on 10 December which didn’t arrive until today. Again the delay was in the Uk. Royal Mail is an absolute joke and has been for many years. Is it any wonder they are losing so much business. Can’t even call them to complain as the wait on the phones is a minimum of 40 minutes Poor service.
