I never thought it would come to this but Hermes regular service is now twice as quick on average than Royal Mail 2nd or 48 and has amazing tracking every step of the way, even with the name of the driver. Hermes normally deliver by 8am here, Royal Mail between 2 and 4 pm with no weekends. RM needs to get up to speed with tracking for ALL packages, even the local depot has no clue how packages progress. The postman is 10/10 helpful in all weathers the yesteryear system is not his fault.
