Was awaiting delivery all day. Never heard anyone ring or knock. When I checked the app it says there was a delivery attempted but no one was in, so I would have to take the card to the delivery office. Only thing is there was no card.
Had to take a day off work as the delivery office is open from 0930-1700 and I work from 0730-1830. I get to the delivery office and explain the situation, show them my emails that Royal Mail have sent and some ID, but the guy at the delivery office (while holding my parcel) tells me that I can not have it because the mail man didn’t leave me a card. So I’m getting penalised for their incompetence.
He at least came up with a suggestion that he can forward it to a co-op post office so I can collect it out of hours. So tonight I went to the co-op where I was then told that they had been told by Royal Mail not to give out any parcels out of hours.
You could not make it up
Not only is this company responsible for wrongly destroying 736 peoples lives, but they cannot even get a parcel from A to B successfully.
With over one million complaints last year, I don’t think you are doing that well.
