Took a letter for Dublin to the town Post Office on Tuesday lunchtime paid for tracking, it arrived at Chesterfield Friday lunchtime, a journey of 6 miles. A sorting error, I was told, due to having lots of things to deliver! Apparently still on PO target to reach destination country in 3 to 5 working days. Derbyshire to Dublin not Djibouti. Being busy doing the job you are in business to do isn’t an excuse it’s a sign of failure and incompetence. We send parcels to the same address via courier which arrive in a day, cheaper than PO quotes. So why did I stupidly trust the expensive Post Office to deliver a letter. Never again. The one star was for efficiently taking my money at the counter.
