Absolutely shocking company! I’m surprised that they haven’t gone through. Ordered an item on Thursday before the next day delivery cut-off and paid £7.99 for the privilege. The parcel failed to turn up on Friday which was annoying, but I was refunded the postage by the seller. Royal Mail sent us an email saying that our delivery would be with us between 11:30 and 13:30 on Saturday, but you guessed it, it never arrived. Tracking information just stops at a main depot somewhere in Birmingham at 4am and we’re received zero information since. Their website and apps are appalling, their live chat is a robot and none of the FAQs are helpful. All avenues simply end in a sorry.
Both companies offered pitiful apologies and excuses which just isn’t good enough. To say that the delay is caused by the up-coming election and Christmas is pathetic for a delivery company! I waited on the telephone to speak to an advisor for almost an hour to simply be told that all they can do is offer their apologies! Why do you not offer emergency pick up facilities for such incidents? Surely you put actions in place to deal with busy periods?? I suggest some serious restructuring if you cannot get your primary function right! The item that we were waiting for was extremely important, I’m just glad that I wasn’t waiting for a kidney 😡 I would have given zero stars, but that’s obviously not an option.
