Not fit for purpose. Tracking just shows delivered. So no one knows what address whats street what town or even what country. A french parcel showed delivered and when it was investigated it was in Las Vegas (Pathetic)
No cards are left. Parcels are scanned as delivered but have not even left the delivery office. Our collections take nearly 8 hours or even more to get to the sorting depot 50 miles up the road. Damaging our Amazon dispatch rates.
All you get when you call them is COVID 19 staff shortages and self isolating. Well its wearing a bit thin now. Seems like all the other companies are coping and offering the service they are charging for.
Tracking is meant to be just that tracking telling me where and when.
If they cannot cope they should halve their prices till they can or advise using other carriers until they can cope. Because if the covid is to blame then they are not going to be fit for purpose for years to come.
Maybe its because they pay their staff to be off unlike many delivery companies.
they say they will contact the delivery depot in question and then after 3 weeks say they have not responded to 3 emails and not answered the phone either. Have Royal Mail never heard of warnings then sack.
