Complaint about staff at RSPCA adoption centre Burwood. To whom it may concern, I would like to complain about staff at your adoption centre at Burwood. My brother and I attended RSPCA Burwood today at 10am as we were eager to adopt Daisy a Japanese Spitz. The staff totally misrepresented the dogs mental state by saying she was anxious, aggressive towards other dogs and barked a lot. They basically made the poor dog out to be CUJO. When we met Daisy she warmed up to us immediately and didn’t bark at a dog in the grassy area we walked within, in the centre. She definitely wasn’t anxiety ridden with us. Your staff obviously make the dog anxious. Anyway a heavy set imbecile, your staff member came outside and told us because we wanted to socialise the dog when she was in our care we couldn’t adopt her. The judgement of your staff was poor. Daisy couldn’t have found a better home than with us. I can’t in good conscience support your organisation anymore and withdraw my monthly donation of $20 as I believe your staff incompetent and not fit for purpose. Yours Sincerely, Theodora Angelopoulos
