The RSPCA always state that animal welfare is the core ethos of their being in existence. I had two lost Frenchies turn up at my house. When I rang the RSPCA to see if anyone had rung in about them, the answer was yes. The woman who answered the phone then proceeded to advise that RSPCA Hunter Shelter did not collect any contact details from the woman who rang in! Her response was we do not have the contract for Council anymore, fullstop. The lack of interest given by the person on the other end of the phone demonstrated to me the utter lack of concern for animal welfare the RSPCA have at all. RSPCA, people come to you at a time when animals are in need of attention and care. You need to lift your game if in deed animal welfare is the what you are supposed to be about. Yesterday you failed and lost even more credibility in the process.
