Zippers on RTIC soft pack coolers are not made to withstand the wear and tear of use. I have purchased 2 soft pack coolers so far and will never purchase another again! First one the whole zipper seam came apart after a few years. The newest one the handle broke off after only a few uses. It was under warranty and after filling a claim to have it replaced I was denied. Instead they sent me just a replacement handle. In order to replace the handle I needed to use pliers to pull the metal zipper piece out to remove the broken one and put the replacement hand on. Wouldn’t this just weaken the actual zipper?! Instead, I used a keychain ring to attach it. DO NOT BUY RTIC PRODUCTS! They are not overbuilt, and obviously they do not stand by their products or warranty!!!
