We have the first visit on 27th June, date that I paid 100 Pounds for the Survey (Deposit)
None came next week, called and they confirmed that it was going to be 7th July.
We had the survey on 7th July and we have been informed that our small room windows can not be double door due to fire regulation.
The person who came to do the Original Quote informed us that it was possible, but that was not confirmed by Surveyor.
We have to change the original planning from a double door windows to one door window.
We've been asking for a re-quote since 7th July but they keep holding us.
I had to be calling 6-7 times with a holding time average of 20 min on the phone to get into someone to give me an answer.
After all this, I want to cancel the finance and I want the Deposit returned.
The person on the phone said the following "Since you are out of the first 7 days, the deposit can not be returned"...
how I would decide to cancel something if I was still waiting for a Survey if could be done or not in my house??
This situation is unacceptable.
