I viewed car insurance via Go Compare in January of this year. I was very disappointed with my previous insurer (Tesco) who were quoting approximately £450 for the year. I thought that this quote was particularly high, as I am a 66 year old retired civil servant, and only do around 5,000 per year. This was an increase of £150 from the previous year, so on perusing the Go Compare website, I decided to insure my car with Saga as theirs was a very competitive quote of £189! I have been a customer with Saga (monthly magazine) for about 5 years now and must say that I was very impressed by their quote.
