A few days ago I ordered party food for guests arriving today - 6 items in total including sandwich platters, wraps, desserts etc.. Had an email last night reminding me to collect my order today.. went to the store at 1030 this am.. the customer service agent checked my email, checked their system then went off to get my food from storage... came back with 2 small boxes... 'thats all that has arrived... sorry !'.. wheres the rest of it? 'oh this happens all the time, its a terrible service' they replied.. you're welcome to go off into the store and choose a few bits instead but we dont have the food you ordered. My guests were arriving in less than an hr.. no food.. no email to say the food wasnt coming.. Sainsburys.. really?! cant make a few sandwiches with 4 days notice?! Not happy with them and wont use them for any pre orders again.. and the food we did get wasnt great to add insult to injury!
Dont touch them if you want to guarantee food for your party.
