Occasionally one makes inadvertent mistakes, but today in the process I discovered a new oxymoron, " Sainsbury's Customer Service"
Having queued in traffic to get into the car park I realised that I did not have a £1 coin to get a trolley. ( Why are Sainsbury's the only supermarket in the area that have this inconvenient system. I went into the store to get some change and found that they have moved the "customer service counter" even further from the door because they have installed even more self service points and a scan as you go service is being introduced.
Why go shopping if I have to do the work myself. Online, same price but someone collects the goods and delivers them home for me. Are Sainsburys trying to get rid of in store customers?
Arriving at Customer services the one lady was busy and a queue waiting to be "served" As I decided to go to another supermarket I saw a "Manager" stacking vegetables. He was less than interested and quite rude. Surely Sainsbury's would do better to pay two extra staff, one to help at customer services and one to stack the vegetables, Win Win and probably a saving for Sainsbury's as well.
