My order was supposed to be delivered the other night between 8pm and 9pm but it was late, it eventually got to 10 past 9 and I started to worry so I called Sainsburys customer support team to query this and the chap said because I didn’t have my telephone number on my Sainsburys online account they couldn’t deliver the delivery. This is shocking. I’d woken up specifically (after a 9hr night shift) for this food shop (and I was also working a night shift that night and then for the next 6 days) and I’d now have to get it delivered between 17:30 and 18:30 the next day as that’s the only slot they had left so the next day I had to wake up in time for the delivery. I’ve shopped with Sainsbury’s in store and online before and never had an issue like this but I’m really disappointed and upset because I had no food for my night shift or my breakfast the next morning! Don’t shop online with Sainsbury’s they are truly disappointing.
