This has been an amazing help. My 12 year old son has infrequent nighttime seizures which can cause his oxygen levels to go below 65% and require rescue meds or an EMT visit. His older brother who shares a room with him was not sleeping well because he was worried he would miss alerting us to a seizure. With the SAMi, we have peace of mind and my older son can sleep soundly again. It also helps me monitor how long it takes my younger son to fall asleep, as sleep deprivation is a seizure trigger. So if I notice it’s taking him longer than 30 minutes to fall asleep, I can bring him his sleep meds.
