My son was epilepsy. He has always had tonic clonic seizures until recently. He had to have a few EEG’s recently. One lasting an hour and another lasting 72 hours. Nocturnal seizures were suspected. The only thing is we were never able to catch them happening. Within a week of having the Sami we finally have video of them happening. I was also woken by an alarm while they were happening. I can sleep at night now knowing this system will wake me up in a time that my son needs me. It’s easier than trying to record a seizure, video and time it while trying to administer emergency medication and calling emergency services. I’m also no longer sleep deprived as I sat on my sons room at night and watched him sleep. My husband took the day shift as he works from home. I really don’t know how we went this long without one.
