I absolutely love our new SAMi monitor system. My seizure-free epileptic child just came off her medication, but since her seizures happen while asleep and involve vomiting I've been terrified to let her sleep alone without the meds.
The SAMi monitor is wonderful, and the feature of turning off constant video makes me simultaneously happy that she's constantly monitored without my having to watch my 6 year old sleep like with a baby monitor, which felt odd to both of us.
