The SAMi has been an answer to our prayers. Our 7 month old daughter was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation causing her to have epilepsy. Her specific form of epilepsy causes seizures to occur during the night or very early in the morning. I have feared that she will seize without me knowing while I sleep. The fear of SIDS became a fear of SUDEP and my sleep was almost nonexistent after her diagnosis. The SAMi has allowed me to rest knowing that if she moves abnormally in her sleep, I will be alerted to the movement. This is such an amazing device and captures and stores all of her movement that I can review it the next morning and share it with family members or her doctors. This is definitely worth the money and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.
