We purchased a dishwasher, clothes washer and clothes dryer from Samsung.com and paid for installation since we didn't want to mess anything up. We just bought the house in November and moved in this past weekend. The appliances came mid-last month and we had issues straight from the start. They installed the washing machine, partially installed the dryer (they didn't successfully install the dryer vent which is required for a gas dryer), and left the dishwasher in the middle of our kitchen connected only to the water line. I finished installing the dishwasher - I drilled it into the counter myself and hooked up the electric. Then realized they broke the inside of the dishwasher and the second rack of the dishwasher, which is probably why they left it there. So we have one working shelf - the bottom one - and it only partially washes because the middle rack does a lot of water distribution. The first time we ran the clothes washer, it vibrated across the floor, tearing up the linoleum in multiple places, scratching up our door frame and getting paint all across the washer front. The dryer (which was incorrectly installed on top of the washer) was hanging off of the washer by the gas line. Thankfully it didn't break. The top of the washer is completely busted - we can't snap it on anymore and who knows what damage was done to the inside of the washer and dryer. We've been on the phone with Samsung for probably more than 40 hours this past month - first to get the dishwasher fixed and then to get someone out to look at the washer and dryer. I've personally gotten hung up on twice, my partner once. We finally have someone out today to look at the dryer and his first statement was "this dryer looks 20 years old". He's not sure if it can be fixed but also can't guarantee Samsung will replace it. The dryer has literally never been used.
Dryer tech came out Friday - three major parts were broken inside - no guarantee that new parts will fix it. Samsung won't replace it.
Washer tech came out today - they closed our case because it was the "installer's issue".
So now we have a completely broken washer, a probably broken dryer, and a dishwasher with one working rack.
We opened a case with the BBB, reported to State Attorney General, and are contacting our credit card company.
