Samsung is awful, I have bought many products from Samsung, but have experienced the worst customer support and services of the items within warranty. I bought Samsung Refrigerator
"Samsung - 29 cu. ft. Smart 4-Door Flex™ refrigerator with Family Hub™ and Beverage Center - Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel"
from Best Buy and had them delivered. Best Buy delivered the refrigerator, but had to remove the lower doors in order to bring the unit in. The unit was working fine until few weeks ago when the "Door Open" notification started showing up. On review from the Samsung tech, they said that a wire was broken, and Samsung will contact me in 2 days.
2 weeks later I contacted Samsung when I did not hear anything back from them, they said, there is Physical Damage and I will need to pay for the part and they will cover the labor. I accepted this with reluctance.
I did not receive any follow up from Samsung. I contacted them back and they put me in a loop with part supplier and they would not give me the part number.
I then contacted them back, they wanted to see if there was physical damage on the refrigerator, I sent them pictures with no visible damage.
Then they contacted me back saying I need to pay for the labor and the lower bottom door amounting to $480.
BE AWARE SAMSUNG ITEMS ARE OUT OF WARRANTY IF THEY ARE BEING DELIVERED BY FOLKS YOU BUY FROM (BEST BUY/COSTCO/SAMS ETC) AND THEY HAD TO REMOVE DOOR TO BRING YOUR UNIT IN????
GIVEN THIS WARRANTY SITUATION, DONT BUY SAMSUNG
Overall Horrible support and really bad customer experience. I wish there was "0" star.
