Purchased a Samsung fridge and the compressor went out 10 months later. After waiting for 5 days for Samsung to schedule a service call, Samsung approved a full refund of my purchase price. This was June 2nd. Today is June 30. I have submitted all required documentation for the refund and was told on 6/22 that I would receive the $1500+ into my Paypal account. I am still waiting. I have made dozens of phone calls amounting to over 1000 cell phone minutes to get my refund. I am told that my payment was processed on 6/22 and that paypal has my money. I have checked with paypal. No money transfer was ever made. I received email documentation from Samsung regarding the payment. There are 3 steps in the refund process. Only the first step has been completed. It has become obvious to me that I will probably never see my refund money. I truly believe that Samsung's refund process is nothing but a Scam. If you need to purchase a new appliance, DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG PRODUCT!!! Their customer service/refund process is non existant.
