We recently moved into a new home and bought a new french door refrigerator and, a month later, a new dishwasher. First the refrigerator: 4 months after purchasing it, it stopped cooling in the freezer. I called Samsung for a repair, which was fairly easy. The tech came out about 4 days later, which by that time, the refrigerator section had also stopped cooling. Tech needed to order a part and come back a week later. Samsung said to make an itemized list of what was in the fridge and send it to them for reimbursement. My fridge was ultimately down 7 1/2 weeks. At one point, a Samsung rep said they would reimburse some of our eating out expenses since we are a family of 5 with no fridge. They finally got me a new refrigerator (I am literally filing a claim as I type because the ice maker is broken and the dispenser leaks). It has been 3 weeks trying to get my spoiled food reimbursement and dining reimbursement. They said they won't do dining even though the rep told me they would. My spoiled food itemized list came to 380 and they said the max they do is 200. Now, to the dishwasher...it is also broken, only 3 months after buying it. It leaks all over my floor and, according to the rep, I now need to have that replaced as well. I will NEVER buy Samsung products again. It is junk; the customer service knows nothing and doesn't follow through with what they say they are going to do.
